With 18 years of experience in the trade, Paul Acchione founded Select Heating and Cooling Inc. in 2017 and will consistently provide superior quality and top notch customer service.

Select Heating and Cooling Inc. is a family-based business serving Oxford County and all surrounding areas. Paul has been married 12 years and has 2 children. He is active in the Woodstock community coaching soccer and supporting area businesses and organizations.

Paul received his Apprenticeship at Fanshawe College in Sheet Metal and Gas Fitting.  In 2009, Paul was promoted to New Construction Supervisor of Installers and then to General Manager in 2012 overseeing 50+ builders, 60 trucks and 80 employees in a Southwestern Ontario firm. As a result of Paul’s leadership, this firm has received 2 Waterloo Record Reader Diamond Awards and the Waterloo Region Consumers Choice Award.

Matt has been in the trade Since 2004. He attended Fanshawe collage where he obtained his G2 gas fitters licence as well as his sheet metal licence. Matt joined our team as a service technician in 2019 and has grown into our top salesperson.

Chris

Service Technician
Chris has been in the HVAC industry for 17 years working in residential and commercial heat and air condition systems including service and installations. He is a licensed Gas Fitter 2, a licensed refrigeration and air conditioning systems Mechanic. He attended both Fanshawe College and Mohawk College for his education in the trade.

Aaron

Service Technician
Aaron obtained his G3 gas license in high school and completed his G2 gas license at Humber College. Aaron joined Select in 2018. He is currently working towards his 308R Sheet Metal licence.

Greg

Metal Fabricator
Greg attended Mohawk College and has 27 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker in fabrication and installation. He is Red Seal certified since 1995.

Dean

Service Technician
Dean is the newest member of the team. Dean is a G2 gas fitter as well as being a second year residential air conditioning apprentice and has been in the trade for 4 years.

Service Technician
Conner started in September of 2020 as a coop student, and was hired on full time in December of 2020. He is a licensed 308A sheet metal worker and a g2 gas fitter, both obtained at Fanshawe.

Jake

Service Technician
Jake joined the team in the fall of 2019. He started his career in HVAC in 2018 and signed up for his Sheet Metal apprenticeship in July of 2019.

Nevaeh

Reception
Neveah joined in 2026. You will find her helping customers, answering calls, and keeping things running smoothly around the office.

Ryan

Service Technician
Ryan started with select in 2023. He is a licensed Gas fitter 2, and is working towards his 313D refrigeration certificate.

Roger

Service Technician
Roger has been in the HVAC industry since 2002 working in residential heating and air conditioning. Roger received both his residential sheet metal journeyman ticket and G2 gas fitter license from Fanshawe College. He’s been working with us since Select opened in 2017.

Quin

Service Technician
Quin has been in the HVAC industry since 2019. He holds a red seal 308A sheetmetal license and also has a G3 gas technician license. In the near future, he is hoping to acquire his G2. Quin started with Select in February 2026, and enjoys working in residential and small commercial jobs.

Ashdon

Service Technician
Ashdon started out as a co op student in February 2025 and was hired in July 2025. He is a licensed gas fitter 2 and is pursuing his apprenticeship as a sheet metal worker, working towards his red seal 308A certification

Zeus

Office Dog
Meet Zeus, our friendly office dog who joined the team in 2022. Known for his enthusiastic greetings, whether it’s a visitor at the door or a passing dog, his bark is his way of saying hello. Though his Husky stubbornness keeps things interesting, Zeus is all heart, offering tail wags, cuddles, and endless good vibes. Stop by and say hello!
